Parents are always parents even when we are adults or parents ourselves. They are the ones who take care of us when we are powerless and protect us when we have no one to have our backs. When they get old, they need us more than before and this is the time for us to compensate for the huge sacrifice they made for us. Parents in Islam are very precious and Allah enjoins us to always respect and be careful how we treat them.
